Free Tools for Designing and Printing Posters

This morning one of my Facebook friends lamented the arrival of a “back to school” display at our local grocery store. Last week I got my first “back to school” email. It came from a classroom supplies and classroom decorations vendor. So I guess it’s time to at least entertain the thought of getting classrooms ready for the new school year.

If you’re someone who likes to keep your classroom or office walls fresh throughout the year with new posters, infographics, and charts, I have a couple of free tools that you should try. First, Canva offers lots of free templates for designing your own posters, infographics, and charts. Second, Block Posters enables you to use any standard printer to print large posters. I made the following video to illustrate how easy it is to use this combination of tools.
