How to Embed Word Documents Into Blog Posts and Web Pages

A couple of weeks ago my Tip of the Week newsletter featured ten “hidden” features of Office 365. The option to generate embed codes for Word documents is another nice hidden feature of Office 365. You can do that with any of your documents that you access through the online version of Word.

In this short video I demonstrate how to generate an embed code for a Word document and use it in Edublogs, WordPress, Blogger, and Google Sites.

Embedding a Word document into your website or blog can be a convenient way to share documents with parents or students without having to re-write the content in your website or blog editor. It’s more convenient for you and it’s more convenient for them because they don’t have to download the documents in order to read them.
